either that or they want each other

I don’t want to be around
when these monsters start multiplying
and the ship starts going down

It’s scorching season for the sun
every time I expose my fare skin
he’ll sharpen his solar knife

I can hear sweet Barbara yelling at me
don’t be such a drama queen
and go put on some fricken sunscreen

And theres nothing I can do
Mother nature is out to get me
My time has come too soon

And won’t someone please pray for me?
I’ve got bigger problems in my backyard
oh my life is a tragedy

Its screeching season for these birds
every morning outside my window
not a single one in tune

Well maybe they are trying to enlighten me
Screaming “Don’t be such a dirtbag,
and get out of bed. You can sleep when your dead”

And theres nothing I can do
Mother nature must want to kill me

Lock the door and throw away the key
